I have a dodge neon circle track car running Falken Azenis RT660s. The right front takes the most abuse. I'd like to rotate it with my left rear to get a fresh shoulder up front.  The tires have directional tread, but does it really matter if I'm running in the dry?

Ive always been told no, that it doesn't matterdry, but never specifically about that tire.

Years ago we would run Azenis on the "wrong" side if it was dry, on a road course. Never noticed a problem with it. I was told the same thing, that it has to do with shedding water.

I have run them backwards with no issues.  Even in the wet, as long as it's not ponding, they worked ok.

I've rotated tires on the racecars the wrong direction plenty of times. Never noticed decreased grip or increased degradation.
