They won't announce the date until later and the route until about Christmas time.
The maple syrup comes from New York, though the politeness feels pretty darn Canadian.

This isn't official, but OneLap is traditionally scheduled to end the Saturday before Mothers Day in the US (i.e. the Saturday before the second Sunday in May)

What I have noticed, for at least a decade now, is manuals having much more aggressive gearing than equivalent auto cars. That is how autos have started getting equal or better mileage. That should also account for better highway manners.
I will second what Sleepyhead, Brock/OLOA posted on a status someone made and said save the dates, next years OLOA will end on Saturday before mothers day, you can work backwards to the start from there.

Like how a lot of guys buy Fords and Chevys and then there are those of us who wanted to beat our heads against the wall with a Mopar.
Ford has caused me more issues than mopar.
