145k offer out into the world. Rates are so bad i cannot take a loan
Had a long talk with the wife and we both agreed that a truck that we did not feel comfortable using as a truck is not useful. So keeping the old f150. I sold a motor or two and put the prowler up for sale. Putting the shovelhead and the Fatboy up for sale as well to make some space should make some cash in the shovel and break even on the Fatboy
So if all things go well and we get to a deal we bought a 2022 R8 RWD performance plus V10 every option.. Chalk exterior on red interior.
I wholly approve of the R8, but... it doesn't have 4 doors, haha. I get it though, it's such a sexy car, both visually and acoustically.
So long story short car dealers are mostly SCUM. Also some of them are not so bad. The RWD did not pass inspection and the very light hit was a bit more then that. then I got told it would be more money then agreed upon on the phone. There was another one up in LA but the pricing was not as good.
But and its a long full BBBBUUUUUUTTT I did get a car. But I got a monster at the same price and lower miles. They are working the numbers right now and the deposit should go out today or tomorrow.
139K for this. a 2020 V10 Performance AWD with everything 228K or so MSRP. So I get the carbon brakes, the titanium race exhaust and slightly less miles and 3 months of warranty. Low owner count, full inspected already and I get to fly out and drive it the home if I cannot find a shipper. It has the super red interior with all the carbon and the blackout package as well. The only thing I did not want was the adjustable steering rack but 95% of the V10's had it and I will have to deal. Also no adjustable suspenison on this one to leak like my last car.
This is a E36 M3 ton of money to spend on a weekend car / occasional commuter but the wife gave her blessing and hopefully this has a lot of overlap with stuff I already own and I can sell that off. Geting back to just the Truck, the R8 and my Thunderbird would be amazing and that will fund the R8 completely.
