Tried the aircraft stuff in a spray bottle. What I was left with was 1000 tiny cracks and crevices with paint remaining. It would take a good 8 hours to get every little bit off, and I'd probably take years off my life and skin.
Is there anything that I can use to say soak in a tub overnight?
is it stripped enough for electrolytic to work?
I'm sure you've already considered this, but I've found the aircraft stuff to be temperature sensitive. If it's too cold it doesn't seem to work well.

So you're saying that the frosty 29 degrees might have an effect on it? It did cross my mind briefly, but I tried it anyway.

The aerosol SUCKS you need it in the liquid/gel form and paint it on. When it's thicker it eats it no problem just be careful cause it will eat up aluminum if you leave it on too long

Tal-strip gel, brushed on, backed up with wrapping it in plastic sheeting so it will stay active.
I stripped an 19" travel trailer with the gel in the summer. It worked well.
I got the brush on goo at Home Depot today. We'll see how that goes tonight.
