It's an MG XPower SV IIRC.
Given how much effort they put into that build so far I fully expect them to continue with that attention to detail on the Mini before tackling the MG. Especially as the parts availability for that thing is a lot closer to nil than you'd like it to be.

I haven't been watching but for a year and a half, but i don't look at Binky as a car build, but as bunch of fabrication and engineering lessons that revolve around modifing a car

They have a shop to run as well. I think the biggest money-making aspect of Binky has been the creation of an international reputation for Bad Obsession Motorsports.
