Any updates?
I'm considering trying this with an 03 Forester, the leak is minimal and I really don't feel like doing head gaskets on a low dollar daily driver.

Funny this popped up, I just poured a bottle of the blue juice into my truck yesterday.
I emptied the system and filled with water. Online instructions said wasn't needed, bottle said use water.....
I did not pull Tstat (its built into the neck), will probably give it a few days and drain and refill the system.
Well, truck started to overheat again (loosing coolant is what it was previously doing.... ) Popped the hood, coolant was really low. Blue devil dries white..... There is white spray all over..... UGH. There wasn't coolant spray all over there before....
I bought what should have been a nice used John Deere garden tractor, 20 hp water cooled engine. It has actually been one nightmare after another. Last spring had to search the country for a replacement cylinder head. Just a couple weeks ago it cracked another head. It had so much water in the cylinder it just wouldn't start. After a few days of drying out and nothing to lose I got it going and dumped a bottle of the magic blue stuff in it. It took about 20 minutes for it to quit smoking. So far so good

I don't get it. Your water pump is busted? Or am I not seeing the white spray correctly.
In reply to Robbie :
Nope not water pump. Appears to be the crank position sensor. Not sure why that sprouted a leak.... Hopefully it'll be fixed tomorrow. It's an oring seal.

Well I'll have to eat my shorts. Sure looks like its the Waterpump. Damn it!
Doh! An oring would've been Soo much easier!!
In reply to Robbie :
Changed the Oring anyway, it must have been leaking a little oil into the white powdery stuff to make it look like a wet spot.
Waterpump ordered....
Ok, so my RX7 has a pinhole leak in the radiator and I need it functional for the Carlisle Import Show tomorrow. I attempted a fix with JB Weld, but it still seems to be weeping a bit from an area I cannot easily access. Is this stuff worth a shot? Blue Devil Radiator and Block Sealer
I just need a quick fix for now that gets me up and running for tomorrow, but I actually give several E36 M3s about this car and motor, so I don't want to crap up the cooling system with gunk that is going to cause problems or be a PITA to flush out later. This will just be a temporary fix until I can order a new radiator, since this one has several other repairs due to the poor design of my old upper mounts (now fixed.)
I'm also intrigued by Duster's nutmeg suggestion. Do I just steal a thing of it out of the spice cabinet and dump it in the radiator? Anyone else had success with this?
Personally, I wouldn't try a fix in a bottle if you give a E36 M3 about anything in the system. You can greatly reduce a leak by temporarily running the system at 0 pressure. Just try to keep temps under 200* and don't beat on it. And keep the revs down a bit (to avoid water pump cavitation).

That's kind of my inclination as well, but given all the positive reviews in this thread I figured it might be worth a shot. Certainly tempting. If I'm taking this car I don't want to have to worry about babying it the whole time, since my primary interest there is running the auto x. Further complicating matters, I have a new and untested e-fan and shroud setup, so I have no idea what to expect for coolant temps while idling in line.
Problem is it's LS1 swapped, so not exactly an off-the-shelf application. Radiator mounts, coolant hoses, fan shroud, ect. are all setup around the Speedway radiator that's in it now. I'm sure I probably could find something locally that could be made to work, but likely not without significant reengineering of one or more ancillary systems.
If it is in 1 of the fins, and not an end tank or anything, you can just crimp the fin before and afyer the hole.
