No not that , but what happened to the drains that used to exist on the underside of doors/trunk lids. I'm getting a fair amount of moisture in the trunk of the 'V' and I've identified the entry point (CHMSL/wing). Also when I open the trunk lid, water comes pouring out from under the liner ....grrrrrrrrr and there are no visible "drains" to be seen on the bottom edge of the lid. Same situation with the driver's door....when opened water is dripping out of the front of the door from under the panel??? Thoughts????
There are door drains, they are behind the weatherstrip along the bottom of the door. You can pull gently down on the weatherstrip to see the openings. It looks like they drain into a channel in the weatherstrip and exit out near the back. They probably are plugged and letting water build up.
I didn't see any drains on the trunk lid. I believe they would use some sort of gasket on the CHMSL/wing to keep water from getting into the trunk lid. May just need to be sealed again. I had to do that on a Bonneville, clean and reseal the wing to stop water from getting in.
That's what I can tell from just looking at mine without taking stuff apart.
