AE86 liftback....

4 seats with room for luggage... OR 2 seats and room for 4 tires, tools, a cooler or two, a change of clothes... or others things like fitting just about any purchased spare for the car... (eng, trans, rear axle all can be carried in the back)

4AGE fun in totally stock form, also fun with upgrades. Can deliver over 30mpg in stock, AND modified form

Toyota reliability... many aftermarket suppliers... TONS of performance soultions.

AND tons of GRM type solutions for upgrades.... for example swapping in Supra brakes by swapping in Celica spindle/strut tubes... or swapping in Corona lower control arms to gain negative camber.....

A milano would be pretty fun, parts availability is mostly good, and they are fun to drive. They have no ground clearance, useless headlights and likely non functional HVAC which kinda takes some of the fun out of driving them other than on nice roads on nice days though. They are very easy and simple to work on though, and other than clutch related parts (and windshield glass) none of the parts are really any more expensive than other comparable cars. If you are comfortable with something like a 924s, I would look at a milano for sure.

Lose the RWD requirement, and you could have a Neon for every day of the week.
