The FR-S is making an audible "wub-wub-wub-wub" sound at low speeds. (If you've ever driven an old truck you probably have heard the sound.) Its not noticeable above 30 as road noise takes over. I managed to smack a pothole about 3 years ago, and had a bearing fail because of it. Once fixed, everything has been fine. There is no peddle vibrations when braking and no vibrations under acceleration. I lifted the car off the ground and all 4 rotate with no roughness. Could thin brake pads make this sound? They are the original Toyota pads with just over 30,000 miles on them. All on the street. Are the tires aging out? They are the stock 3 season tires that I've had to keep on the car even in freezing winter months. I've ben in cars with bad bearings, and this isn't displaying any of the symptoms. Help me find a vector.

Cupping on the inside edge of the tires?

Tires appear to be wearing flat. I'll double check, to be sure.

Tire noises will follow when rotated. If you have a one sided/corner noise rotate to the opposite side and see if it follows.

Awesome. That idea just popped into my head. Thanks for confirming it.

I'm agreeing with tire noise. sounds like a slipped or broken belt.

Bearing will get louder with speed and load. Brake noise... probably not. I agree with tires

What happens to noise by slightly dragging the brakes?

I wouldn’t have believed this if I hadn’t seen it for myself. It happens

If its a tire you can jack up the car and spin the tires.

You would see an anomaly in the belt or side wall shifting back and forth as it rotates.
