No title. He wont be able to find it.....
I'm local (20 minutes or so) - Id be happy to check this out, either as an enabler or for myself ;)
Does java320 have a key?

Not yet.... Its locked in a storage unit that needs to be paid for before it can be opened. Working on it....
If it ends up going for auction ill bid, but I'm guessing with people seeing porsche, it will get expensive.

How much is owed? Let me know if you need any help.
I think you would be further ahead to let it go for auction. Car is worth less than $900 to all but the most crazy of crazies. Realize you are attached and remember the good ol days, but some times you gotta let those hard to reach chips go.
Here we have a bent, stored questionably, moddified version of a car that isnt worth that much when absolutely perfect. To sweeten the deal, it also has no title, so you will have a hard time with everything. You can't even take it to the crusher without cutting it up.

There is a lot of other stuff in the unit too.... If it was just the car definitely.
Also note: not my car or storage unit, just a good friend I am trying to help.....
Dam Wish this was on the other coast. I would pay 1K for that. Even with shipping at $2,500 total it is worth it to me. However the whole title thing just kills it. I need to speak to a friend in the state just north of me and see if he would be willing to purchase it. The real question is how much $$$$ is he is looking for? If it is just the $900 then that is a prie that is workable. Would he be willing to work with some one on the title. I forget did he actually register it and pay the tax? If so then if you include a notarized bill of sale with a copy of the registration and proof of tax that I think will get you a title. However the same name has to be on the registration and the proof of tax and that has to match the notarized bill of sale.
Just looked back in the thread and saw that he never put it in his name. That kills it unless that has changed
HE really does not legally own it and as such really does not have the legal right to sell it. Ya I know but in the eye of the law that is how it is.

Yep , not in his name. Hes not good at adulting..... Hence non paid storage units too.
Looks like it’s been sold, luckily the buyer should take good care of it.
Assuming they can get the title sorted, etc.
All goes well it should be loaded on a trailer home today! Its been snowing..... PNW doesn't do snow well.
