I searched but did not find anything particularly useful...I'm planning to head down to Road Atlanta for the Mitty and I'll be camping for a few nights. I'd like to hear any recommendations for the "best" camping area to park my camper in order to have a good view of a fun part of the track from the camper. I'll bring a chair and move around to watch from different spots, but it would be nice to have some sort of view from under the awning of the camper when I've had enough of walking around carrying a chair. I have a truck camper so I do not need a big footprint and no need to be close to the bathrooms or showers.
Thanks!
I really like the area around turn 3. You get a view all the way through the esses. A lot of people camp along the back straight between 7 and 10a, but I don't find it that exciting to watch cars go down a straight. A lot of passing happens entering 10a, but it's hard to see from the camping area because of the hill.

When I was there for the Mitty I camped in the woods in the infield looking up the hill after turn 5. It was an awesome spot to be in and there were trucks camped up the hill from where we were.

Mike, I've been going for many years now. I camp near turn 5. Having the bathroom near is not a bad thing and turn 5 viewing is always fun.

Ticketmaster is handling the advanced ticket sales. Anyone know what ticket pricing will be at the gate?
