I've been on a lot of forums, and I don't think that I've ever seen that happen.
Any time I see a thread with a missing OP, I assume it was a canoe that got sunk.
Remember when we'd get bots copy and pasting entire posts?

I've seen it happen on one forum before, and that one abuse nearly lost the indefinite editing privilege for everybody else.
As best I can tell, all of his forum posts for the past month appear to have been lost/removed/deleted for some reason. Threads show up in his posting history, but no posts from him in them. Hopefully it's just a fluke and nothing more.
Edit: Nevermind. Looks like the other threads are simply because they're zombie threads in which he was previously posting as SlickDizzy.
Nothing too bizarre is afoot, I'm still here. I haven't been visiting/posting much in general over the past few months.
I was having an extremely bad day and an attempt to daydream about a build ended up with me getting increasingly frustrated in my replies, partly because I was doing a poor job of communicating (common on E36 M3ty days) and partly because some of the things I was saying weren't being acknowledged.
It was my intention to just delete the whole post, but this board doesn't allow that from the user side, so once that operation failed and my original post got deleted, I just deleted all of my replies and walked away from the computer for the rest of the day.
So no, not a canoe, didn't get the ban hammer, etc. Just got worked up over something dumb on a bad day.
Sorry you were having a crappy one. We've all been there. Hope it's looking up a bit now.
