A boosted 11.5 : 1 compression ratio motor with no intercooler and a plastic intake not designed for boost. What could go wrong?
I'd have started with one of the SUV engines myself, for the boost headroom. And a mid engined car is probably the only time I'd prefer the transverse engine's atrocious oil filter placement vs. the longitudinal's top mounted cartridge filter, because in a mid engine the cartridge would be about the middle of the cabin glass. I'll spend a whole can of brake cleaner to clean off the engine mount over having to lay across half the car to get to the oil filter.
Does the factory turbo High Feature have a plastic intake? I've only ever seen one ATS-V and I was too busy looking at other things to notice.
I've seen this car in person years ago, several owners ago. It has good intentions, but my sense is that no one's ever sorted out. It pops up for sale in West Michigan from time to time as others have indicated.
Whoever sorts it out will have quite a car. I think many have tried and given up
On the other hand, I own a stock 2006 Elise and will never be good enough to drive it to its limits.
I may go and check it out. Unlikely that I will actually buy it but if I did there is a strong chance that it would lose the turbo.
It's like a coffee table car, you don't really drive it but it's nice to look at and talk about.

I worked with some of the early EcoBoost GrandAm Daytona Prototypes, and they ran the factory plastic manifold. It would swell up an inch or so and was just wild to watch on the dyno
