I've been brainstorming on this, thought I'd throw it up here while I was doing it and get some input.
I'm working on the main harness right now, so now is the time to move stuff around. I'm going to use the Mustang AC stuffs, but whatever miata wiring I can use I'll use. More or less I'm working on what to do with the wires that would go to the ECU. They look like grounds, but that's as far as I am.

I could always ground the A/C relay, or get rid of it all together. That would lead to the thermal switch, which should be fine. That going to the ECU I think is for cutting the A/C at WOT. The other controls the condenser fan, which isn't huge I guess. I'm going to run electric fans, and have both on a water temp switch. I don't think it would be hard to have one come on when I turn the A/C on, just need to think it out. The 3rd and last one go through the refrigerant pressure switch into the A/C amp, which I have no idea what it does, lol.

Starting to think I can switch the A/C relay with the thermal switch, the wire the positive side of the relay to the A/C clutch. The condenser fan needs to turn on if the A/C is on. What it looks like to me is I can power the fan by connecting the condenser fan relay to switch using fan position 1 (L/Y). But I think that's constant 12V, not sure because again, I'm not sure how the A/C Amp works. Still do not know if the ECU is +12 or ground through the refrigerant pressure switch.
EDIT: Actually, it looks like I can switch the condenser fan with the B/L wire between the A/C switch and the A/C amp. Looks like that would only be on when the A/C is switched on.
