Cool! I'll be at the Feb 27 Corvette club Brockville autocross. But yep, I'm more of a rallycross guy than an autocross guy. I've run a 300zx in SCCA rallycross for the last 4 years and I've been the regional safety steward for the program up until this season. This tarmac rally was about as far away as you could get from an SCCA rallycross, though. This event was crazy but fun. I can't wait for the next one.
I checked out the Arsenal- indeed another prime spot!
After reading some of the links I'm doubting the rally guy would have much interest up here.
But I sure would!

After hitting and downing the power line, will the insurance let the next event take place? Who is/was responsible for the downed line and the subsequent fire and I assume power outage to somewhere?
I assume, and hope the driver is fine and not injured, is the car totaled?

Not sure if this will happen again. I'm sure the event organizer's insurance will have some issues. The fire department and local utilities had to respond so someone is paying that bill.
Driver was not injured and as far as I know the car drove away.
Here is a pict of the transformer blowing.
Some of those are full stage rally builds. I know the white e30 (Jesse) is. S52 swapped and runs most east coast events at least.
What type of facility is this?

Man I really hope they are able to do another event. This is the best thing to happen to Florida amateur motorsports in years.
