i know some of you are asking for help in places with cars and such, but due to prolems out of control, i am lossing my garage space to get the car down. right now my car is sitting under a tarp in the driveway doing a good job as snowbank....I am waiting for the last couple of W2 forms and then getting the taxes down quickly. I am hoping the middle of febury to have some extra cash to finish up the ride. does anyone have space in lake county,IL that we could work something out for for the use of space for the month of march to get the car running and ready to race in april.

here is the status right now that we have been doing with. we are almost ready to fire up the engine.

which reminds me of something i need to ask about. the car has a 350 v-8, a 4 barrel carb, one gas line from the tank in the trunk. the car was set up for asfualt circle track racing. I plan on using it for autocross and drifting, do i need to run a return line to the tank? The person that was helping me was worried about the return line even for a carb car.

pics of the build so far. http://s243.photobucket.com/albums/ff148/ckosacranoid/race%20car/

If you are running an in tank pump, you can get a fuel pressure regulator that has a return built in. That way you can cut down to a carb friendly pressure and still use the return line.
