So, I didn't make it to the challenge last year because my car didn't run.
So, this year I decided to buy a running car. I drove it about 300 miles home with no problem and have driven it around the block several times with no problem.
So, tonight I replaced the overflow tube and changed the oil. I rolled it out into the driveway and was going to fire it up and drive it around a little. When I went to start it something shorted out and instantly drained the battery.
So, I pushed the POS back into the garage and called it a night as I don't feel like tracking down an electrical short at the moment.
Yeah, I'll find it, just not tonight.
Seems I always have this kind of luck on car projects. I know I'm not the only one it's just really irritating sometimes.
Just about everything that has gone wrong with my motorcycle project has been my own fault. Maybe it's because I keep using a standard hammer on a metric bike.

Yeah man no need to worry at least you can recall the last time the car ran.

Didn't say it was big. My only real goal is to have a car at the challenge this year. I'll be the one driving the biggest POS there.

Not if we don't finish "plan A."
