I am going to drive 7 hours tomorrow round trip to see a car for my daughter. I would love to check the vin first. What service does it best?

Here is the number in case you can check it, JT2SW21M20002996

Thanks!

I think there is a slight bias towards Autocheck on this forum.

Zis.

And I think I used autocheck.com when buying a no-title car before contacting the local police to also clear it. They matched. Negative stolen, which is all I was worried about. I did find out it was a few years older than the owner stated, but I didn't care.

Isn't "VIN Number" a bit redundant?

VIN number = vehicle identification number number .....same as PIN number ... personal identification number number ....

it's not worth pointing out to people, since most just stare blankly at you .... but I do chuckle to myself ( or even just loudly enough to be heard ) when someone does that ...

never saw the post by LouellaBreezei821 ... and didn't notice the date lines on the other posts ... saw the title and read through to a certain point and then posted .... maybe I should be more observant
