Leake Auction Company's Dallas sale takes place this weekend, auctioning off hundreds of classic cars. One that jumped out at us was this beautiful 1960 Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite. Worth registering to bid?

Not that anyone here would care but, quick look shows that it has carpet (should have a rubber floor), wrong door panels, wood shift knob instead of bakelite, painted gas cap instead of chrome (although that one has never  been completely  verified one way or the other). Pretty car (that's my least favorite color on it) but why whitewalls?? Always hate that!

Dad bought me a 59 when I got my learners permit,  1966.   we took out the sliding Glass door's and rolled it inside my bedroom, took it apart and was going to put a 1275 in it, Momma raised hell about that . Made dad sell it.
