Yikes
You have my full faith and confidence, but I have to agree, I rarely see a well executed mobile site...

In that case, the fixed width of CM is really annoying, especially when pictures get chopped, or when I want to read long sentences because I'm on a 24" monitor instead of a 5" screen, just sayin...
(I'm kidding btw)
I was kidding, too--sorry about the no smileys. Here, let me fix that:
We plan to poll you guys pretty regularly about what you like and don't like, so hopefully we end up with a site that works for everyone. Thanks for sharing with us--as I've said before, criticism may not be fun to hear, but it sure does help us improve.

In reply to Alan Cesar:
Great change! Now all we need is a search function and a non-$2013 classifieds section!
In reply to Ian F:
That's why there's only one, and you get it only once, defying common wisdom and convention...

In reply to Marjorie Suddard:
But I don't get it once. I get it everytime I go onto those forums and I can't get rid of it. It doesn't even let me log in.
Hmmm, pm me with your browser info and details and I'll ask those smarter than I to look into it.

It's only when I'm using my Droid, which is how I view the forums a little over half the time. The pop up is always in the way and prevents me from being able to log in. When I'm at work, all pop-ups are blocked so I don't see them, although I guess you don't see them if you're logged in?
Yeah, you shouldn't be seeing it still, and it should NOT be blocking the login screen. Are you using the mobile site from your Droid?
Margie
Never used the mobile version. Finally got logged in on CMS through the Droid. I think through the Mobile version, but I'm still getting the pop-up and nothing will get rid of it.
Why can't it just be done away with? Pop-ups only serve to annoy people. Personally, I've never, EVER purchased something that came up on a pop-up. I close pop-ups before I even read them, as do most people I've ever talked to.
(this is posted from my work computer)
Thanks. We'll look into it. You only log in through the mobile version by going to a specific address--basically add m. to the site domain--hence our plans to upgrade the site to pick up automatically when it's being accessed by a mobile device.

You'll need to log in to post.
