Poetry is great... until you analyze it. Painting, sculpture, most art is great... until you analyze it. Sometimes the worst thing one can do regarding your favorite movie is dissect it until it’s too late to ever see it the same way again.

In my opinion, it’s fun to discuss car-stuff. I love to do it.  But too many times subjects like this get analyzed to a point that I just want to shut down and watch YouTube videos by myself and just enjoy it.

In faaaaact....

Pretty cool, but he suffers a 10 point deduction for the undercar neon.

In this case, I think it works.

The video made me google to see how much LED underlight kits cost these days.  It would be hilarious to have them on my Jag.

Thats right down the street from me, In my younger and dumber days I enjoyed doing one leaf of the clover in my Z28.

You're not far from me then. I'm a few exits up on 820 from this.

It's a small world. I've been driving that cloverleaf for 30 years. Beautiful and picturesque Lake Worth Texas...

Well executed ridiculousness is the epitome of any good car build.

Stuff that makes me think "if you need horsepower to drift, and/or you make a lot of tire smoke in the process, you kinda fail".

Also note the second video is of an AE85 - meaning a single cam POS, not even a GT-S.

The neon looks good behind the rear wheels in all that smoke.

Fun!

I used to do that in my 81 Malibu wagon...in the rain.

Not near as much screaming V8 or tire smoke.

I was a little younger back then and Charleston had a lot less traffic.

Interesting to see that drifting gets as much love at GRM as circle track. I have never understood why going round cones in a parking lot all by yourself is considered a higher calling than all other motorsports here.

Well for one thing, GRM started out as an autocross magazine ;)

All Mustangs should have LED-lit intake triangles in the grille that match the body color. That is a fact.

Top level drifting isn't grassroots and the car control required is amazing. But most people don't see anything but the lower end of the spectrum who don't make a great name for the overall sport.

I have all the respect in the world for pro drifting... but the local drifters in TX have much much less respect from me because they often(not always) trash and damage sites and often do not repair them and leave them in a sub optimal state. Mineral wells has had an abundance of trash showing up between autocrosses after drift events happen
