RA65 Celica GT-s. Did a clutch change which included the flex hose and slave cylinder. The clutch master cylinder drained. When finishing up I opened the bleeder and filled the reservoir but it never dropped so I don't think the fluid is flowing to the line. How do I help it along? I have a air comp assisted vac brake bleeder. Can I attach that to the bleeder on the slave?
That system must be pretty close to my RN Truck.
First off, I change all my clutch hydraulics that I can over to DoT5. SO MUCH BETTER. Can't on the RAV4 because it shares the reservoir with the brake system but I did the Truck a few years ago and did the Rolla.
Try putting a vacuum pump on the bleed nipple. Pull a vacuum and pump the pedal. That should get it going. Or you might try disconnecting the line at the MC and pumping until fluid comes out, then putting it back together.
