Evidently cocaine is still flowing freely today in the Carolinas, this just showed up on my news feed: $150,000.
MSN.com: 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Transformed into 1963 Split-Window Coupe Now Available
CarolinaClassicsandMore.com: C2 Conversion of a 1963 Split-Window Coupe on a 2008 C6

That thing right there is an abomination worse than any 80s coke fueled custom creation.

There were so many 911 Targas that got the Targa bar cut off and made into a "911 Cabrio"
Porsche actually had instructions on how to do the cabrio conversion, before they started building them in-house in 1983.
The Targa to Cabriolet conversion booklet is Porsche part #WKD 451 620.

The things you learn.
How do we feel about long-hood cabrios?

I love everything that's happening in this thread except for that corvette.

I think I'd cut my tongue out first!
We can all thank Pirelli and their new P7 tires for the wild 80s tuner era. My plan after I made it big was to replace my BF Goodrich TA 265/50R15 and 295/50R15 tires with Pirelli 285/40R15 and 345/35R15 tires on my 10x15 and 12x15 Weld Draglite wheels. Alas, I could never afford them and then they quit producing them. Evidently someone is making them now.

I wonder why nobody has ever stuffed the above sized tires under a Cobra Clonecar?
How about this Jag beauty?
