Hey guys, we've been posting updates on our Facebook page, but realized we havent posted onything on the grm thread. We, Condor Speed Shop, will be entering a 1975 BMW 2002 into the 2011 challenge.
Modifications will include a turbo charged BMW M20 engine with a full E30 suspension swap.
Due to the Ultimate track Car Challenge we started working on the car 2 months ago. Its going to be a long two weeks until the challenge but hopefully we will have this car running and ready to go.
here are some recent pictures
Motor is in
E30 Trans tunnel, firewall, and partial floorboards
Coilovers using modified e30 housings with 2002 strut tops, and an ebay coilover kit.

In reply to DirtE30:
does it count as being "on the ground" when the front fenders are doing double-duty as suspension travel limiters? ;-)
srsly, looks sinister, can't wait to see it action!
Congrats! - looks flat nasty I've got a serious soft spot for 2002s (I've had three up to now).

yeah, its sitting on the fenders, and the oil pan is about half an inch from the ground. But we do have a solution for at least one of these problems, soon so stay tuned.

Maybe it's because we love seeing a team going through the same last minute crunching we are.
