Mazda5 report: just took a 3-day 400 mile trip to northern Michigan. Half at 65, half at 80 mph. AC on the whole time. Got 28 mpg upon fill up. In the car was myself, my wife, our baby girl, the dog, the rabbit, and wayyy too much baby gear, like a pack-n-play, swing, etc etc. I love the car.
Another thing to note for road trips: the gas tank is decently sized, I usually go about 370 miles between fill ups.
