Someone needs to send this guy to driving school.
I hate it when you let go of the shifter and the next time you need it it's wandered off into the backseat or somewhere else that's hard to reach.
I don't understand how video's like this get published but with the skill displayed they probably thought they were doing everything right and the Porsche just couldn't handle their awesome driving. I really thought it was going to end up with a crash and was hoping it wouldn't involve another car.
At least they didn't put oil down on the straight leading into a braking area...
Edit: Just looked at the Youtube channel and surprisingly the car had already made it through a number of sessions. And if you're thinking the guy in the passenger seat might be a better driver, he isn't although both of his hands do touch the steering wheel from time to time.
That was truly awful. What a twat! Out of curiosity, how did the camera seem to know when to rotate to the back?
In reply to dyintorace :
At a guess, it's a 360 camera and that rotation was done during editing.
The rocking in the seat is a good indicator of someone who can't control himself. If you can't control yourself, there isn't much chance you can control a car.
The gent obviously has zero mechanical empathy. He got exactly what he deserved. I'm sure he'll blame the car though.

Intsta 360 camera, pretty cool and something I'd love to have if they weren't so expensive.

LOL...
Why do all the worst track videos I come across seem to be out of the UK? The driving on some of the open track days looks positively terrifying.

you clearly have never seen me drive :-D
to be fair that person would have been black flagged at any organization I have run at after his first lap (he went across the blend line, missed the first turn, etc.)

Lol, but I am subscribed to your YouTube channel. ;)
God that was awful. That's one of the reason why I prefer NASA tack days. They give you very little leeway until you've demonstrated skills. I've done other track days where they just have everyone self-select which run group to be in and inevitably there's someone with marginal skills in the fast group because he's got a quick car and an ego to match.

I noticed that as well and it made me nervous, him seeming a bit too amped up to be "one with the car." I was expecting a sudden destabilizing steering correction, causing a spin, but the engine had other plans.
I am almost certain I have had the pleasure of racing him in a wreckfest lobby...
I'm not a skilled track driver and that hurt to watch. Like, a lot.

Very cool. I didn't know those were a thing!
Drive her deep and hope she eats... Jesus, haha.
That's some low quality, 'high performance' driving, and a video I'd love to show my students as to why smooth is fast and fast is slow. RIP Pcar.
That engine blowing might have saved his life. His driving skill was terrible, how do bad drivers like that not get black flagged?
Stupid twat! My old organization would have flunked him out of driver's school after about two laps - hell - after seeing his steering with his thumb on the first turn!
We actually had one guy driving a Corvette who wouldn't keep his arm in the car - he just kept putting his elbow on th window (which was down) as if he was on a drive in the country and would not stop doing it, so he was flunked out in the first school session - a good demonstration to the rest of the students to pay attention.
