OK, i'll start by saying i'm a terrible planner. five weeks out, and i've got no tow vehicle and no road-trip partner. so i'm looking for someone with a truck who wants to go to the challenge. i'll comp hotel and challenge fees, and i'll split fuel cost. i'll even let you drive one run in the autocross (more if you're blisteringly fast).
non-smoker only, unless you like vomit in your truck.
car is a porsche 944 with a 355cid small block chevy tied to the original 944 5-speed transaxle.

I'm only semi-serious as I had no intention of going 30 seconds ago, but my father does have a brand new F-250 that mostly just sits in the garage.

tow dolly is my hauler of choice, because i already own it. it's kinda safe...

What is the weight of the combination?
car plus dolly will be about 3300#. will also have another ~300# of tires and wheels, tools, jack and jackstands, etc.
in years past, we hauled a marginally-lighter car on the same dolly, with the same payload of etc, with an S10 4.3 / stick.
My challenger isn't going to be done so I'm thinking about this, full size E150 with factory tow package, rated to 7000lb and a full trailer with storage.
