Needing to refresh my suspension. Do these guys or others have coupon codes or annual sales? Labor Day perhaps?

edit: for the 128i

Yes, FCP usually has sales going on a regular basis. They just had one on cooling products and I had used a sale prior to that when I refreshed the suspension on my E90. Check their website or get on their mailing list.

Agreed.

To the OP, here's a recent one for my VW.  Get on their mailing list, no need to wait for a holiday sale.

Get on the email list for FCP Euro.  They have "sale" items but also send promo codes fairly regularly.  Promo codes usually have a  minimum purchase amount north of $200...but if you're doing suspension work you'll benefit.

Re FCP Euro.

1. Sign up with your email
2. Load your shopping cart with whatever you are interested in
3. Wait a day or two
4. You will get an email stating first that "they are holding the parts for you but their arms are getting tired" - Ignore
5. You then get another email, usually on the second day, for a 5% off coupon.

Not as good as their sales, but it always works and 5% is not bad.

Also, Turner and ECS are owned by the same group. As much as I have ordered through them, their customer service is not as good as FCP's and I avoid them if possible.

Another two sources that you have not mentioned and are worth checking:

Bimmerworld - They support GRM and I once had James Clay himself email me on Thanksgiving day apologizing for a part they were missing, so top notch customer support.

Tischer BMW for best prices. TIscher's website

If you are a BMW owners - BimmerWorld has seasonal sales here and there and every so often have discounts on certain brands we love partnering with.  TONS of products that qualify for free shipping year round.  On top of possible sales we offer the best customer service with REAL human beings on the other end of the phones always ready to answer your questions and direct you to the right part.  We staff BMW enthusiasts, not just bodies to answer phones.  Even our warehouse peeps are BMW enthusiasts/track-goers.  We have certainly supported GRM for what...over 2 decades now?  Whew.

I'd love to reciprocate and support BW. Will take a closer look!

What's the scoop on Malaysia made TRW control arms (specifically E9x M3 variety)?

..Internet chatter says when they left Germany for manufacturing the quality fell off. Is that backed up by fact and warranty/returns?

I’ve run a similar question past the folks at BimmerWorld as I had a few options regarding a replacement part.

I’d say reach out directly to the sales department. Like Kevin said, they’re real enthusiasts.
