Who will be making tires in a post apocalyptic world?
Whos making gas!?
Aunty Entity : We call it Underworld. That's where Bartertown gets its energy.
Max : What, oil? Natural gas?
Aunty Entity : Pigs.
Max : You mean pigs like those?
Aunty Entity : That's right.
Max : BullE36 M3!
Aunty Entity : No. Pig E36 M3.
Max : What?
The Collector : Pig E36 M3. The lights, the motors, the vehicles, all run by a high-powered gas called methane. And methane cometh from pig E36 M3.

Kurt Valaquen's car always springs to mind, though it's not my cup up tea.
Light googling says he's the dude who made the Legacy of Kain soundtrack, but I can't find anything on this car. Got anymore details?
Something that came to mind today - the cars of Cuba are essentially cyberpunk cars. If you take the right definition and squint a little.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Good call. Russians, too

I'm afraid I don't, really. Just found this non-page with no real info. In my earlier searching just to come up with the photo above I was searching Kurt Valaquen and forgot he also has gone by Kurt Harland, but that didn't turn up much, either. Most of what I can tell you is that Information Society is fun synth pop that I imprinted on 'cause their first hit was one of the more amusing things on MTV in 1988...
I suggest you all pester young Mr. and Mrs. Suddard to post pics and description on the FWD GM luxury coupe they have equipped with off road weenies to compete in some sort of rally event. We saw it Friday night on our Zoom call.
A Mad-Max-inspired large truck is on my very short list of projects I want to do. But man I'd really need someone to create a concept I could build to. I wonder what some of these guys would charge for a "commissioned" render if you said the plan was to build it...

I know this isn't a car, but I immediately thought of the Maier "Torpedo" concept/prototype bike from 1987:

On a semi-related note, I watched Ghost in the Shell last evening hoping for some K. Saleem designed cars. Nope.
The movie was ok- fluff based on a video game I don't understand, but not bad.

Stolen for my own inspiration. This thread truly delivers
Yeah, okay, there was some cool stuff in Ghost in the shell. I just expected this:
