Does a stock 2gr powered vehicle need oil pan baffles added to survive rallycross? Hypothetically this will be in an avalon, also hypothetically would that put one in PF or MF?

Found this:

Looks like you can get away with not running one and a 0.5qt overfill works well.
Note that 3rd chart was with both the baffle and a half quart extra.
But it looks like the half quart extra would help even without the baffles.
I had a small German car that I ran in a 10 hr. enduro years ago. I had installed an iop pressure gauge. In the left hander I noted that the oil pressure would drop to about 20 psi and then to the normal pressure in the right. This was because the pickup was offset to the left side of the pan.
My point is that the oil pressure won't disappear completely. You will be OK.

I feel like this might not be the best advice ever given...Air will provide a certain amount of pressure, too.
Try it and find out.
As a general rule, corners are short enough that it probably won't matter.
The 2GR is a ridiculously awesome engine. Ridiculous in that it has never been installed in anything less mundane than Camry and Avalon people-movers. I don't recall the oil pan being very complex internally, but, well. when you're one of the first/only people to do something, you become the R&D department.

When i was racing my GS450h against my Porsche 911 I felt pretty cool. Also, Lotus. But I think i get your general point.

You've never run on clay.
