Einy, been a while, still have the Exocet?

On topic:  I'm curious about the whether Buick has "tuned" the car to appeal to traditional Buick customers.  I had a rental Regal in Florida last year and I think they spoiled a fairly nice car by making it soft and slushy.  Everything about it, the mushy brakes, isolated steering, boat-like handling, even the gas pedal felt slow and unresponsive.  It reminded me of the full size GM luxobarges of days past.  The wagon does appeal to me and the "reverse cool" thing about Buick makes it even better.

The Regal was the perfect Naples Florida vacation car.  If I sat in the right lane with my turn signal on for miles driving ten miles an hour under the limit I felt right at home.

I saw one the other day on the road. First time. It looked nice, but I think there should be more wagons and less SUVs, so I am biased.

I sure do, Jim ... I am finally getting to roll up some (legal) miles on it after jumping thru MANY Ohio State Patrol hoops to get it registered !!

I've started to see a few of them although they definitely aren't common.  I still think it has potential if my mother's V50 continues to be an occasional nuisance. Although if t hat happens she'd really start bugging me to get the white whale (my huge E-350 van) out of her driveway so she could get it into the garage.

I actually have seen several of them since then, including one today (in white) which looks just as good in person as in photos. Cosmetically GM nailed it - can't say about the interior. ...

I've seen them in the pearl white, a dark gray, black and a dark red. As much as I am not a fan of white cars, I think they look best in the pearl white.

Apparently, a little time and a salavge Regal GS can turn a TourX into one of these beauties.   I wouldn't turn this one down.
