We got our hands on the Toyota GR Corolla and took it out at our official test track, the Florida International Rally & Motorsport Park.
How does its numbers on paper translate to real life? Let's find out.

Still the only car that I would consider getting rid of the turbo BRZ for. So it's probably safe for awhile.
Thats sick! Always wondered the track capabilities of these high-priced hot hatches. Seems like they're worth the pretty penny. My non-gr has been to the FIRM, would like to see them side by side one day :D
I drove one over the Christmas holiday. Absolutely rips.
Surprisingly good manners, gets to 7000 RPM in no time. Different driving modes are very useful. Couldn't make the tires so much as chirp (although, granted, we were hooning along back roads).
We're planning on a Dragon visit later this year with it.
All out of a 3-cylinder with open differentials.
I'm glad cars like this exist.
I'm also glad GRM exists and provides this level of content.
Wish I had the disposable income to buy cars like this, but I don't. However, I do have enough disposable income to subscribe to GRM and support the sponsors, so I do.
Have a good one and keep doing what y'all do. It's appreciated.
Except,
You cant drive them on track out of the box. Not really. See Savageese long term reviews. Heat soak and differential overheating happen very quickly. I test drove one and was very surprised by how well it drove and how quick it was. The build quality felt very Toyota, so was dissapointed to see that you really cant take these on track.
2023 GRC Circuit Edition owner here. I've been driving 40+ years and the GRC is an absolute hoot...one of my all time favorites!
In reply to Maxdriver :
