Looking into why the AC is misbehaving on the WJ so I can sell the damn thing - I think the blend door finally broke. Then hopefully fixing an intake manifold leak on the classic Mini. Oh, and doing a bunch of test driving/logging on the V8 ND.

Thanks for the support!

Thanks for the tips! i'll add that I've done quite a bit of automobile racing in other forms. I'm a little anxious but definitely not terrified. I plan to thrash as best I can for the win. I won't be the wimpy backmarker going 1/2 speed. :)
The R52 MINI is getting a new rad fan, thermostat and housing and attempt #2 at stopping the crank position sensor from leaking.

Good luck with your Neon racing, Andy! I presume you will be at Desoto Speedway or whatever it is called now. My #1 Neon tip is to make sure your strut bolts are really, really tight, so the alignment doesn't slip. Pull those belts down tight, and go have some fun!

Thanks Danny! This car was bought and prepped for the Desoto "strictly stock" class. However, the same week I have the car ready, Desoto announces they're "closing for the summer due to unpredictable weather and minor track repairs." Sooo...most of Desoto strictly stock guys will be running at Showtime Speedway in Clearwater instead and thats where I'm headed! Strut alignment bolts are cranked very tight!
Trying to think of something Clever But Laffing and Typing isn't my best Multi tasking ability. After a Season and a half I won the Championship race in my class and no that wasn't the First time I raced either. Every lap and every Turn will be Different than the last Even if your the only one out there. Be Careful and Have Fun.
Oil leak fixing on the Roadmaster, brake master cylinder and subsequent bleeding on the VW. Plotting out next round of fixes for plow truck, wagon and VW. Amount of rain may determine amount of garage progress.
Having some tires dismounted from wheels I got from LKQ for the Miata so I can take them back for a refund. Installing some rear deck speakers in the P71, and fixing the rear doors so they open from the inside.

Please post something on your experience afterwards, I'd love to hear about it. Seriously thinking about a foray into low level roundy round next year. And good luck!

My "Getting dirty in a rallycross Ranger" thread is where I document all of my automotive adventures. Keep a look out for updates there. I will definitely post something up. And thanks!
May finish getting the interior plastics re installed in the rear of the hatch, probably some donuts since this set of rear tires is about dead.
Taking off tonight at 11pm, driving 550 miles to go pick up the AMC Hornet, then driving 550 miles back.
At this point, much less than I had planned... I managed to mess up my shoulder last night trying to pop loose a ball joint on the truck . However, my son's friend was impressed that I got it apart after Nick was hammering away at it for 45 minutes, so it's still a win!
Things I need to do, many of which are challenging using only one's non-dominant arm:
-Disassemble front half of Saab to diagnose oil pressure/balance chain issue.
-Continue troubleshooting AC on Civic backup car.
-Install trailer hitch, Lamin-X and detail wife's Sorento.
-Mentally plan for the psychological trauma of a house full of screaming 13 year old girls for a bonfire/sleepover. Fortunately I can drink bourbon with my left hand .

That sounds horrible. If I weren't in Michigan, I'd be happy to "share the load" on all that horrible V8 Miata test driving.
Failing that, I'll be going to my local club's "fun event". Usually an autocross with a twist of some sort. One year it was PAX based eliminations, where the bottom 20% got dropped after each run and anyone who hit a cone was out, last year it was a "guess your time" event. My son and I missed our target time by .003 seconds. This year they're talking about running the course in one direction, then having to trying to match times running in reverse.
Figuring out why the S10's a/c works fine around town but stops blowing cold air about 5 minutes into a freeway speed drive ... after final prep work on the Exocet for an expected next week OH state patrol self-assembled vehicle inspection redo number two.
