You have got to see this car! This replica is so good he even cut the wheelwells!
DO WANT!!!!
The styling on these cars boarders on bizarre but I always like them more with that paint job. The wheels and white letter tires help too.

^This.
That is the hard part. I know a great place for him to store it in FL, though. We can park it next to dad's AMX to keep it company
I always did like the Javelin's looks, it was definitely mean looking. And that one looks like it would take a bite out of your ass.
The part of the ad that I like: 'we went all out to make our Javelin a different looking car. Even at the risk of scaring some people off.'

What a stunning car. It looks fast just sitting there. How many cars from the late 60's look that good?

I didn't know that bodystyle lasted into the 80's. Wild.
Car in OP is insanely cool, though.
I just re-read the ad "1980-looking". I'm a dope.
Little did they know that in 6 years, everything would be boxy and AMC would be near-defunct.
I remember walking into the showroom when these cars were new. The salesman explained to me that the styling was "just like the Ferrari GTO". I had to ask him, "How long has it been since you've see a Ferrari GTO?".
I counted my pennies. I'm waaaaay too short for this car. I can't think of anything better for a track day/HPDE beater, either...
