E36 M3 Convertible Impressions

So, I've had the M3 for about a week now. Here are my impressions:

1. Smooooth. It's almost as smooth as a rotary.

2. The ride is definitely cushier than it was in the RX8 or Z06. I'll see how it feels when I get to replacing the bushings and stuff.

3. I can hang my arm out the window. I love the size of the car.

4. Estoril Blue is easier to keep looking nice than black.

5. The top rattles when it's up. I just turn the radio up and ignore it.

6. Power is adequate. Gas mileage is ok.

7. There are fewer small broken things than I was expecting.

8. It's easy to park.

9. Hard tops are expensive and difficult to find.

10. There is very little wind buffeting with the top down.

My goals are to have a fun daily driver to use for cruising up in the mountains occasionally. I think I've hit the nail on the head with this car.

They really are great cars. Another bonus, as compared to the two cars above is a more usable rear seating area. I've always felt squished in the back of an RX-8.
