So, I've had the M3 for about a week now. Here are my impressions:
-
Smooooth. It's almost as smooth as a rotary.
-
The ride is definitely cushier than it was in the RX8 or Z06. I'll see how it feels when I get to replacing the bushings and stuff.
-
I can hang my arm out the window. I love the size of the car.
-
Estoril Blue is easier to keep looking nice than black.
-
The top rattles when it's up. I just turn the radio up and ignore it.
-
Power is adequate. Gas mileage is ok.
-
There are fewer small broken things than I was expecting.
-
It's easy to park.
-
Hard tops are expensive and difficult to find.
-
There is very little wind buffeting with the top down.
My goals are to have a fun daily driver to use for cruising up in the mountains occasionally. I think I've hit the nail on the head with this car.
