I found a good deal locally on a Jackson racing supercharger for my Civic and the seller says it needs a rebuild. When I asked why he stated that the pulley works itself loose over a few hundred miles.
I have very little supercharger experience. Is this just a case of a missing woodruff key and no loctite or something like a bearing issue?
The stock pulley on my M45 is heat shrunk on. I am not sure how that would work its way off? Could it be an aftermarket multipiece affair?
That's what I was thinking, something like one of the quick change kits.
Though to promptly counter myself, I think the M45 I've got has a key and a bolt to hold the pulley on. Been a while since I looked at it.
They have a bolt.. . Locktite may be the solution?
