It looks like I'll be road tripping this New Years to pick up a Miata roller. I should have an empty 20' open car hauler for the trip from Detroit to Atlanta via Nashville on New Years Eve. If any of you need help moving a car south along that route, I might be able to help you out.
Ohh, I might take you up on that. Mine just started yesterday and details are unknown at this stage

Sounds good. I may end up having to trailer my sister's car to Nashville, but that's up in the air at this point. Keep in touch if you end up needing to move that car & we can figure out if it will work out.

We fixed my sister's car & she drove it home, so the trailer is still empty/available for my drive down south as of now.
Seller has gone AWOL. Doubt anything will happen now.

Well that is a bummer. What were you trying to buy?
The volvo 144 that was posted on here
I feel like there should be an Uber version of FedEx where people already driving from A to B could haul someone elses crap to offset their gas money.
Note: If one of you develops that app/website I want royalties.

If developing apps to be commercial successes didn't take so much damn time, I would totally build this.
I would much rather help a fellow car guy get his new project home for the cost of gas than drive 800 miles with an empty trailer.
