I never knew this was a problem for endurance racing. I've done 22 lemons races, in the car for up to 4 hours without stopping, and never had an issue. I hope it doesn't start any time soon.

I guess I'm confused... normally the additional "sweat" causing chaffing/rawness, but that is due to rubbing, not just the moistness in and of itself.

WTF are you guys doing in a race car where stuff is rubbing??

You want me to get graphic? My hemmorhoids flare up, and my bunghole burns with a fire surpassed only by the surface of the sun.

You didn't get what I got then. I was fine in the car, during the drivers change, then I stripped off the Nomex and walked four feet or so before I started feeling it.

Yeeeeaaahhhhh.....never got that. Thank God.

I get diaper rash bad. I'd tell you that shaving helps a lot, too, but I don't want to traumatize Tuna anymore that he already is.

It absorbs into your skin pretty quickly. Fire down there's not an issue.

Staying hydrated and eating plenty of foods that keep you regular might help stave off these problems, too. Just an idea.

I typically drink at least a quart of fluid (water with a splash of gatorade or fruit juice) right before I get in the car, and usually a gallon or more total on race days.
