Thanks!!!
Erm... yeah. The outside is not going to stay so colorful. Though, she has been through quite a set of different pain schemes in her life. She started out white. :-)
I really want to paint her glossy black, but I worry about the heat and sitting around at the race track. I remember soaking to death in my own sweat in my light green CRX..... Black may just about kill me, though it may be worth it (or have just a white roof, though that might look funny!). The thought was that the purple would look amazing with the silver and black of the engine, and fit with the black car/white wheel setup that I have been dreaming of. Maybe some color matched mudflaps for fun........
teehee. ;)
Here is her in an earlier time of her life:

done and DONE!
I DID, afterall, mix the paint myself. The lady at the paint store let me go behind the counter and mess around with all of the different colors and everything! It was such a fun experience.
If you can believe it, I actually BRUSHED that on! It looks just as amazing in person as in these fuzzy photos, I wish they did it more justice! It is a 3-part marine paint, and it took long enough to dry that all of my brushstrokes smoothed out! Not bad for barely over $100 in paint, after the first coat of RustBullet also. :-)
<3 Grape Smoothie
Black exterior will be fine, just do the interior in light grey or white and the heat won't be so bad.
Btw; yeah! On the swap!

I think there are many cars it would not work on. On their current home, they look fantastic.

You resurrected my old thread!! Oh jeez. Lots of bad memories from those photos.....
Hey, this is actually a good reminder, so the motor HASN'T been in the car a year yet. So I am not that lame for not having it done yet. lol, I'd like to have her done by August.
