I have to get a car from Fairfax and bring it to Ohio, are any of you guys local and maybe able to assist with collection and bringing it halfway to NW Ohio.
Total distance is around 550 miles, halfway would be awesome, the car does drive but would need temp tags or just tow it.
What kind of car and in what condition? I don't have a trailer or tow vehicle but if the car was in good running shape, properly tagged (or valid trip permit) and insured, there's a chance I could get it as far as Pittsburgh for the Chump race Oct 2nd weekend.
I've got three days off and live in MD, any chance I can help you and Datsun out?
I'll take any chance to make extra monies I can get. Unfortunately, I don't have a truck and trailer either.
here is trip permit info for VA. Valid for 3 days. There is a section for "Prospective Purchaser Permit" although I am not sure if this only applies to VA residents.

What's your timetable like? I'm in Fairfax but have absolutely zero time this weekend for anything. However, I may be going to W.Va. in the next few weeks with an empty trailer, and could conceivably haul it out there for you if it works out. Probably not "halfway" (Martinsburg) but it gets it closer to you at least.
Also, what is the vehicle. I'm not putting a 1960s Caddy out there, lol.

Alternatively, I could conceivably tow it to our rallycross in about 3 weeks in Frostburg, MD which is actually closer to you (assuming I can find someone to drive my rallycross car to the event, lol).
Both situations TBD regarding my own schedule and availability and what you're looking to have towed, of course.
Falls Church, VA here (down the street from Fairfax about 3 miles), let me know if you need anything getting it prepped and ready...
