Falken ZE-912's bad in the rain after time

Hi all.

I've got a set of Falken ZE-912's on my 1990 Miata. When the tires we new (about 2 years ago), they seemed great in the rain. Despite the fact that they still have a lot of tread left, they seem to be quite poor in the rain now.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

I am in the same exact boat. SVT Focus, they are 2 years old and at around 50% tread. All of a sudden they are 'off' in the rain, like someone flipped a switch.

I guess it is what it is...

you think they're bad in the rain, wait till you see snow!

My Miata came with old 912's and they suck.. all the time. I think they just give up... especially after a few autocross heatcycles.
