Falken Ziex Tires BOGO at Sears thry 11/30/2013

Looking for new tires and found this deal. Buy Three Get One free on installed Falken Ziex 912 at Sears thru 11/30/2103.

I've run the Azenis before and liked them. The Ziex is a more street-oriented tire (Azenis were more for track) but seem highly reviewed. Anyone here have experience with them?

Where you seeing this? I'm only seeing Buy 3 Get 1.

Buy 1 Get 1 would be a pretty darn good deal. That's $40 a tire for 205/50r15.

I have had a set of Falken 912s for a few years now. I have not been impressed with them. I can't say they're bad tires, though.

I've run Ziex 912s and 512s. They are plain all-season tires. Good value for what they are. Not performance tire by any means.

Yes, sorry, I meant B3G1. Still not a bad deal- $90 205/55r16, $270 for 4. Cheaper than Tire Rack's cheapest tire of that size- and they don't carry Falkens for some reason.

Good reliable and long long lasting.....yes. Not something I'd use for the track, autocross or the like. I did however, use them for an ice time trial as I had nothing else.....they did not perform well :shocked:, but did better than I would have guessed.

Confession time: I use them in the early spring and late fall on my Miata. They are competent. Easy to overdrive on the Miata, but that can be fun when it involves oversteer. Not so fun when it involves understeer, or locked brakes. They are, as the saying goes, good tires, but not great tires.

I run Ziex 912's on my daily driver Miata. They were great when new (very good grip in the rain) but once they wore down a bit, they are now terrible in the rain, worse than what I think they should be, given how much tread is left.

Tire Rack had $50 rebate on Sumitomo HTR A/S W rated ultra perf all seasons. Got my price on full set of 245/45-17's to $266 plus shipping and install. Offer expires tonite at midnight.

I had a set that came with my miata... they were fun.. because I could break the rear free by staring at the gas pedal with sternness. (my miata is supercharged though,...)
