After much searching and a real pain in the ass weekend, The Right Car happened fortuitously. I got an e-mail from a local guy who wanted to sell his car. Everything went through and I bought it earlier today.

A 2003 Honda S2000. 37k miles. One adult owner and all of the service records. Got it for significantly below Blue Book, since he was happy to not have to drive it out to the Bay Area to get rid of it.

The owner is retired and got the car for him and his wife to use as their roadtrip car. They just got a nice camper conversion van to serve that role, so this thing was the extra car. Turns out his brother is one of our forklift drivers at the brewery.

So, I've been driving around enjoying my new 9k rpm redline.

Congrats. I am biding my time to get a S2000 again. (Kids to young) I really want the Monte Carlo blue one this time. For some reason, I think I will end up getting a Spa/Rio Yellow since it's my favorite color for the S2000

I really like that color, man.
So, he went from an S2000 to a conversion van He'll welcome the new-found torque but have no idea what that round thing in front of him is supposed to do, or at least when it'll do it.

We're twins! Except for the mileage anyway, I'll turn over 100k this month. People seem to love of hate the blue interior, but Suzuka really is the best color on these cars, here's a shot of mine in action recently:
