After putting in a lot of work and getting this car out of the gutter looks wise, I threw it up on Cars and Bids in hopes of finding it a new home. I have a lot of other things going on in life and just didn't have the bandwidth to finish out this project of trying to restore it to a near factory look. I absolutely loved driving this car, it's the best part of owning a BMW. All the other parts are questionable. But nothing beats getting to do something with your dad and getting to keep those memories forever. Proceeds will go towards my next DD and finishing my S2000 build. This picture is prior to paint repair and the front end going back to stock.

Good luck with the sale! I love those cars, and sort of miss mine, but my Miata was almost as fun (in some ways more fun) and way less expensive.
Looks really low in the rear! Thinking must be HR race springs?
Gorgeous color combo!
I didn't let go of my E36 M3.
I lost my E36 M3.
Good luck with the sale. That picture is lightyears better than most.
I was just about to take out a personal loan to purchase that until I saw how high the price already is with 2 days to go.
GLWTA!!
You are already doing great and you did the right thing but putting it for auction! I really wish I could have made you an offer but my garage is too full already.
Catch that lizard and put it in a box for the next owner!
Absolute beauty of an E36. Color combo and everything looks amazing!
Thinking of selling mine this year too, but stuggling because they are fantastic cars!

I really was on the struggle bus with this one. Every time I drove the car I fell in love with it. Every time I had to turn a wrench on it, I hated it. The color is the absolute best color ever and honestly, I have enough paint left over from this project that the S2000 might get the techno treatment. Too many projects, not enough time, and some other factors led to me selling this :(
