Fly and Drive part Deux - Lexus edition

thats horrible! I am just about to do a fly n drive myself...

I've had really, really rotten luck buying cars from out of state.  Even with getting them PPI'd, I fly in and find evidence of body/paint work, missing parts, blown turbos, etc, etc, etc.

At this point I'm just generally unwilling to buy anything from out of state anymore...

Dude definitely sounds sketchy....but flat out says he buys E36 M3 cheap and resells.  Hindsight is 20/20 but a longer test drive and reading his feedback would have put me off...anytime you see revised feedback its a huge red flag that something is up.  Glad you found a JDM trans cheap, hope you were able to minimize your loss.  Regardless it will be a fun car.

There's about 20 reasons why I should have ran. 30 different things I should have done differently.  As I said, regret. But thanks for adding to the additional reasons.
