I hear you there. The last 3.5 years where all I really drove was the minivan were kinda dreadful. While I had my Spitfire for most of that time as well, it is not the most practical DD for a 100 mile commute.
That feeling does turn into something close to hate the longer you have the vehicle and do nothing with it.
I had a truck for the longest time where it was exactly what my idea of a perfect truck is, but there was so much constantly going wrong with it that I could never keep it running for very long and eventually I just got so angry with it that I sold it for what I bought it for.

That's why I said that the R63 isn't for sale really, but if someone came up to me with three kids and a fistful of cash and wanted to drive them to school VERY FAST, it would be hard to say no.
Hay I take my two kids to school every morning. I currently do it in my Sierra Denali or the H2. Does that qualify?
Until you said that your wife mixes in the V for her daily, it sounded to me like the R63 still gives you happiness being the fastest soccerdad on the block, but the V didn't really have a role anymore. Maybe we need a what car thread for Mrs.Deuce to replace the V with when she's not in the 911.
Society doesn't like it when you go for every hot woman that strikes your fancy, but doesn't mind if we chase every set if lusty headlights that happen by. Might as well take advantage.
If I sold the V and the R63 I'd buy her an R8. It's what she really wants but there isn't a good way to justify it with the current fleet and space constraints. She's not very good and getting things for herself. She's finishing up a company starting experiment right now (not a good financial environemnt for private equity funded oil as it turns out) so her job situation and commute will change somehow in the next couple of weeks. She was NOT happy that I was cruising Craigslist for school busses this morning.

That is so funny to me that you mentioned school buses... Mrs. Wx. and I went to Jimmy Buffet in Mansfield, MA a few weeks ago with some friends. Went through the parking lot before the show to check out the tailgating. We saw the "Buffet Bus 3". We all decided that we have two years to get a bus and customize it for a tailgate bus. I get eye roles every time I show her a potential bus.
