I've heard rumor that stock Honda is going away in 2019. Anyone heard that? Any idea what they will replace it with?

I hope not! The Stock Honda and the Briggs LO206 are the only kart engines that I've seen decent reliability and parts prices for.
Its death is one decision by a Honda product planner away, but it's apparently profitable and needs no new investment. If it goes away SKUSA is stuck with a choice between some second-division IAME or VM engine, going to the expensive but hellaciously fast KZ class, or losing their shifters and going OK.
