I'm helping my brother troubleshoot his problematic Town Car. I think it's an 05. It's slow going because my Ford V8 knowledge is limited to ye olde 302. Right now we're in the middle of attempting to discover why cylinder #7 isn't firing. This may or may not be related. While we were poking around the engine bay he picked up this little guy by the alternator and said, "Isn't this supposed to be connected to something?" We can't figure out where it goes and neither of us remember unplugging anything. Does it look familiar to anyone?
