Now I won't be able to answer any questions on this but...Sharing a build from a friend and co-worker..... This is for sure different!
Here is the story....
Here it is- THE WORLD’S FIRST ROTARY POWERED FOXBODY MUSTANG!!!!!!
There have been so many key players that have come together to get it to this point and I can’t thank these people/companies enough. There’s no way I could have done this myself and I’m lucky that we have so many awesome local companies that have been willing to lend a hand along the way! Getting this car back on the track is not just a goal for me, but it was a goal for our good friend Carlos Martinez who we lost back in March of last year.
When I found out that his car had been sold and the new owner was wanting to sell it, I had no choice but to get it. Being that we are all close in our local Indy car community, I went in this build with the vision of how I wanted it done and wanted to highlight the talent of our local shops as well. Eccentric Motorsports is one of the best Rotary shops in the country
Bullseye Power Turbochargers has been a leader on the forefront of cutting edge technology in the turbocharger industry. Ryan Hendrickson has stepped up and provided me with a Billet TCT 83mm turbo with the first billet center section they have introduced in the market!
Pete Johnson and Travis McCann of Noshnoj Performance have done all the chassis work that has been done to the car currently. They were the ones to install the RSM Tubular Front End and added some bars to the cage so that it can pass 8.50 cert.
Jeremy Jones and the rest of the crew at RPM Transmissions has went above and beyond by building me an all-aluminum powerglide that’s designed handle the abuse of 6,000rpm launches and 10,000rpm shifts!
Justin Burt from RightFoot Down Inc has been helping out with providing killer pricing on parts. Buying (8) ID2000’s isn’t exactly for the faint of heart!
Tony Palo at T1 Race Development has put me on the list to be 1 of 50 who are able to test the new Brushless In-tank Fuel Pump which is going to be a game changer for the industry!
Next up- the car will he headed over to Fathouse Fabrications so that Jeremy Howell can build a custom fuel cell before the rest of the fuel system can be plumbed. Then it will be ready for some FuelTech USA Engine Management goodies!

Pretty cool. I know there are a couple 4G63 Fox-bodies running around as well. And I know that Rob Dahm is putting a turbo 3(?)-rotor in a Corvette
Hope you enjoy and if the tags of those involved are not permitted , I apologize (Mike)
When 5.0-powered RX-7s were kinda a thing, I said that someone needed to build a rotary Mustang. And here it is.
I saw one about 10 years ago at keystone raceway park in pa.
Super cool.
That looks like a 20b, I think.
Nice!
I don't see how this is the first ever, look at Puerto Rico for example...
but that thing is GNARLEY!
This quickly turned into the most bizzare canoe ever.

I’m getting cynical... that’s the first thought that popped into my head. But then the apology in case the tags weren’t allowed made me think differently.
Hey look, someone put a rotary on that turbo!
I am very curious what the weight distribution of that car is.
I am also curious as to why it has two giant tubes running into the impeller from each side. Being either a two or three rotor, the exhaust should all be on the same side, and that piping seems HUGE for 1.3 (or 2.0) liters of exhaust! Especially half of it!
The shilling for your sponsors sucks.

In reply to aircooled :
Um, those are the exhaust outlets. The exhaust inlet is in the bottom and comes from one side of the engine as you alluded to.
In reply to fidelity101 :
He said it was the first they knew of and did a lot of searching before making that claim. As stated, either way, that's a bad dude!
In reply to ebonyandivory :
I was only sharing from his Facebook Page via copy/paste as I thought some folks here would find the build interesting and appreciate the craftsmanship..
Sincerlely.wasn't trying to violate any terms and just got email that I needed to remove the tags (and did). Apologies to GRM and the good folks here.
Can't wait to see the You tube video of this going down the 1/4....wonder what the race weight will be?
