Ok I've decided that I want to go ahead and fix the dumb SHO. I have access to a full lift and tools are unlimited. So anyone want to help out? Basically I'm planning on converting cable to rod shift, and swapping engines. These are all things that I'm not too experienced with doing, so I'd love some help, and it should be fun
Then we can go break it, the fun way lol.

False advertising...title says something about free beer, body contains no references to beer!

And it's snowing out! I'll gladly come help (former SHO owner) but not without beer and not why it's snowing (unless that is you have a heated garage, in that case I'm on my way...)
I still say you strip the damn things and weld the motor in the back of a Festiva or EXP for a DIY SHOgun...
Sorry the title states free beer and indeed there is free beer involved and this snow storm SUCKS. Though I have to say it's fun to watch the 4x4 guys stuck and me and my minivan are rolling string lol. little rallyX pratice today. The DIY garage here on post is heated and includes a tool room that is fully stocked. My wife just got a steam vac so I may try to refresh the carpets in this thing this next week or so. I mean the people that owned this before me were PIGS. Part of the reason I just wanted to dump the whole project is that it's disgusting in there. I have a half day schedule for the next 2 weeksish so maybe sometime in there?

I'll be in Florida until next year, so enjoy the snow!
